  • Unpack contents. Remove any packaging material such as plastic, cardboard or Styrofoam.
  • Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the base and heating elements. CAUTION: NEVER immerse the base in water or any other liquid

It is also recommended to run the unit for 15 minutes on the 1 setting to eliminate the odor and smoke before using it for the first time.
