Never use the marble cookware directly on buying. Wash the marble cookware with plain, cool water thoroughly and dry using a soft cloth. Pour few drops of cooking oil, preferably olive oil or sunflower oil, and brush on to the sides using paper towels or fingers to form a smooth coat overnight. It is advisable to clean the marble cookware immediately after cleaning it. Allow it tocoolfor few minutes and then clean it. It is advisable to hand-wash marble cookware using a mild detergent and sponge to prevent damages and scratches. Use a soft cotton cloth to dry the pot or pan. Do not Use dishwasher for marble cookware.

  • Copper Cookware

If you notice some staining occurring on the bottom of the pan try using some oven cleaner on the OUTSIDE surfaces ONLY. Make sure to follow the oven cleaners’ manufacturer’s instructions. We recommend you store your COOKINEX COPPER COOKWARE by hanging it by the handle on either a peg board or a cookware rack. If you are going to store your pan in a cabinet, please be careful when stacking other pans inside each other. The sharp edges of other pans could scratch and ruin the finish. When cooking over a gas burner do not use excessive heat and make sure that the flame only touches the bottom of the pan. Your COOKINEX COPPER fry pan you can prepare meals in different ways! Not only you can use this pan on the stove top, you can also cook meals in the oven. Oven temperature should not exceed 500°F, if it has metal handle.

- Do not use your cookware in the microwave or toaster oven as this might cause electric sparks or fire, or damage the microwave and your cookware.

- Monitor cookware during use to avoid potential injury to children or the risk of fire.

- Always carefully oversee children who are near cookware that is in use, or injury may result

- DO NOT handle the cookware inside the oven without using oven mitts because the pan and handles will be very hot.

- Preheat the oven before placing cookware inside the oven

- Never leave an empty pan over a burner that is hot or turned on. This may damage your cookware or the stove.

- This product is for home use only. it is not intended for camping or commercial use.

- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays. These sprays will build up on the cookware and become difficult to remove while reducing the nonstick coating.

- We recommend hand washing this product with warm soapy water. You can also put this pan in the dishwasher.

- Never use steel wool or metal cleaning pads on this product, it can scratch the surface.

- If burned or stuck-on food still remains after washing, you may need to soak the pan overnight to loosen the residue.

  • Ceramic Coating cookware

After removing all packaging materials and labels, wash the frying pan with warm soapy water and wipe with a dry paper towel, to remove ceramic dust particles and dirt from manufacturing and shipping. Always use wooden, silicone, plastic or nylon spoons and spatulas to portion and serve from your ceramic cookware. Do not cut food whilst it is in the pan. Metal utensils may have rough or sharp edges that will scratch and leave marks on your cookware. Use a tiny bit of oil or butter to lightly and evenly coat the inside surface each time you cook with the pan. Applying oil will help to keep foods from sticking and helps the coating last longer. Avoid applying cooking sprays because these may cause residue build-up and usually contain ingredients that are too harsh for most nonstick cookware. Most ceramic-based nonstick cookware cannot take prolonged periods of high heat. Always use low or medium heat with ceramic nonstick pans or skillets.

Always allow a frying pan to cool down before cleaning. Clean your ceramic frying pan with warm soapy water and a soft sponge or dish cloth. To remove burnt food from a pan, soak the pan in hot water for 30 minutes before washing. This will make cleaning easier. Thoroughly clean the pan inside and outside after every use to remove all residues and to prevent grease build-up and discoloration. For best results use a soft cloth, sponge or plastic scrub to wash the pan. Avoid using steel wool, nylon scrubbing pads or any abrasive cleaning products.

Periodically use this deep cleaning method to remove the stains and maintain the beautiful appearance of your ceramic coated cookware.

Soak the pan in hot, soapy water and wash with a sponge or nonabrasive pad. Grab a baking soda from your cupboard and sprinkle a good amount to the desired areas and let stand for 15-20 minutes. Lightly scrub the pan in circles using a plastic dish brush until the stains lift away.

  • Stainless steel cookware

To prevent sticking, spray pan with nonstick cooking spray or add a small amount of oil, margarine, or butter to a cold pan. Heat on medium temperature for one to two minutes before adding food. Be sure your cooking surface is level. Burners and stoves that are not level may cause fats to pool: pooled fats and oils do not adequately cover cooking surfaces. Clean pan thoroughly after each use. Food films cause sticking and discoloration on the pan when pan is reheated. Sticking may also be caused by high heat. When fats or oils smoke, the heat is too high. To avoid salt damage (small white dots or pits), add salt after food begins to cook or after liquids begin to boil. Pitting does not interfere with cooking performance, but it can diminish the beauty of the stainless steel. Do not store foods seasoned with salt in cookware. Never let liquids boil dry, the extreme temperatures can cause irreparable damage to your cookware. Do not preheat Chantal empty. Overheating or allowing gas flames to come up the sides of pan can cause brown/blue discoloration. A low to medium heat setting is all you need for most cooking applications (except for boiling water). For best results, use a burner smaller in diameter than the pan. High iron content in water can cause pan to appear rusty.

Before first use, wash in hot soapy water, rinse, and towel dry. Keep your stainless cookware looking beautiful by soaking in hot soapy water after use. Then wash, rinse and hand dry. Chantal is dishwasher safe, but hand drying is recommended for a spotless shine. Everyday use may result in minor scratching; this will not interfere with cooking performance. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach, or strong abrasive cleaners. It is okay to use your metal utensils, but do not use knives or electric beaters.

  • Enameled Cast iron cookware

Remove all labels Wash the pan in hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Nonstick surfaces should be wiped with cooking oil to condition them. You can use our cast-iron cookware on all heat sources – gas, electric solid or radiant plates, vitroceramic glass, induction, and ranges fired by gas, oil, coal or wood – but the normal enamel surfaces are not suitable for dry cooking, and your choice of liquid, oil, fat or butter should completely cover the base before heating begins. Heat an empty pan or allow a pan to boil dry as this may permanently damage enamel and other surfaces. Do not use electric handheld beaters or mixers in any cookware.

Always cool a pan for a few minutes before washing it in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not fill a hot pan with cold water or plunge it into cold water – this can cause thermal shock damage. If there are food residues, fill the pan with warm water and leave it to soak for 15 to 20 minutes, then wash in the usual way. Nylon or soft abrasive pads or brushes can be used to remove stubborn residues. Do not use metallic pads or harsh abrasive cleaning agents as these will damage the enamel and polished trims. All pans with integral cast-iron, phenolic handles or stainless-steel lid knobs can be washed in the dishwasher, but constant dishwashing may lead to some dulling of the enamel finish. This is not harmful and will not impair performance. When using the dishwasher always allow the cycle to complete before opening the door. This will ensure the pans are dried thoroughly.

MEAT SLICER

Right, first things first, disconnect the power. This step seems like a no brainer on paper but can be just as easily forgotten.

Good, with that done, prepare a sanitizing solution by half filling the one gallon bucket with hot water then adding one cup of bleach to it, nice and easy.

Now immerse the cloths in this solution. Okay, at this step, you need to put on the cut resistant gloves because we’re going into the slicer. Grab one of the cloths and squeeze out excess liquid and wipe out any larger fragments of food with the sanitized cloth.

Now we get to the crux of the process. You need to disassemble the slicer. Not to worry, if you have the user manual, the instructions should be right in there. In any case, most home slicers are dead easy to disassemble. Simply unscrew the screw securing the blade cover and presto, all the pieces are rendered asunder.

Okay, that done, fill the sink with hot water and mix with some dish detergent. You can have some fun while at it and make some bubbles. Wash all the parts that come into contact with food. Make sure, also, you wash both sides of the blade, using a circular wiping motion from the center going outwards then rinse all parts properly with hot water.

Now we sanitize. Apply the bleach solution to the slicer then allow to properly dry before lubricating with a thin coat of the cooking oil.

Finally, once the slicer is completely dry, reassemble the parts. And there you have it, you have just completed a thorough cleaning of your slicer. Follow these steps after every use and you and your slicer should be just fine.

Note: for more information please follow instruction manual.

  • Clean clogged burner holes with stiff wire, pipe cleaner or a pin.
  • Replace the burners correctly. There is a small hole in each of the burner base pieceswhere the flame shoots out and connects with the burner - if the hole isn’t matched withthe corresponding opening in the burner the flame won’t ignite.
    • Do not pour water over the cooktop itself as excess water can prevent ignition when you come to use it again.
    • Do not Use a toothpick or cocktail stick to clean the burner holes in case the wood snaps in the holes. Brushing gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush can also help to dislodge food particles and grease.
    • Do not spray cleaning liquid directly onto the control panel. Instead, spray some on a damp cloth and then wipe the surface. Don’t use abrasive pads or harsh cleaning products on the knobs or the decal indicators can be worn off. Many control knobs can be removed and cleaned in soapy water.
